Dr. Boland completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada in Reno. He completed his predoctoral clinical internship at the New Mexico VA and the University of New Mexico Hospital. He also completed a postdoctoral clinical research position at the University of San Diego School of Medicine and a clinical postdoctoral position conducting structured psychological evaluation with medical patients in hospital and clinic settings. Dr. Boland also has extensive psychotherapy training and experience with evidence-based treatments, and he teaches university courses in clinical psychology.
Dr. Boland now applies his assessment experience and scientific background to conducting forensic expert witness evaluation in civil and criminal legal cases. He also continues to take on evaluations in medical settings.
